Textbook Acquisition

What: Fullerton College students donate used textbooks to EVSU classes

When: Send books by May 31, 2011

How: Send an email for book drop location in Fullerton, California

Why: Most classes at EVSU have only 1 or 2 textbooks for 40+ students. American students at the end of their semester can donate a class set of textbooks. We particularly need developmental reading, basic math, and ESL textbooks.

Book Donation

What: Donate your used books to EVSU's library

When: Ongoing

How: Send an email for book drop location in Fullerton, California

Why: EVSU enrolls 14,000 students. The library fiction collection consists of 152 titles. Reading is the best way to improve English skills. Send us books at a junior high or high school reading level.

Scholarship Fund

What: Fund 60% enrollment for 30 future educators

When: Donations open until Nov 1, 2011

How: Review the details and donate

Why: Every semester some students suspend or terminate their studies because of financial difficulty. The Philippines needs good future educators. This scholarship will help produce them.
